WRG winch rope on the website!

Anybody have pics of the red installed on a black winch?

Stuck between red or black.

Posts like this are why I should have stuck with my original thought to only offer the line in bright obnoxious colors. The correct color is the one that is easiest to see when the line is in use, not what matches that ridiculous underwear you have on.

Unfortunately none of the available colors fit my “My Little Pony” undies.

I see the point on visibility. Any line I use is going to be caked in mud at some point. I would think black holds up best looks-wise.

I'd ask, but I am scared, very scared.

If the communal knowledge isn't accurate, you should wash the mud out of any winch line after use. No need for the pressure washer, just rinse it out. The grit works into the strands and abrades them as the rope is tightened and loosened and the strands work against each other. That holds true for steel or synthetic.

You're welcome and I am glad it meets your compromised standards being a fan of yellow and all. FYI and anyone else paying attention, if they send the thimble in, we credit near full price to send it back on a winch line.

I'm assuming this won't apply to a TRE line and thimble that's never been installed... ;)
