Agree you might as well install new unit bearings since you're removing my the axle shafts. I usually go with Timken but last time around I installed SKF.
Dorman sells a kit with replacement axle nut, washer, and cotter pin.
Hardtop or soft top won't make a difference. Thieves will just smash your side with window, open the door, and steal that stereo in five seconds. I wouldn't bother with anything more than a $100 stereo if I resided in LA county.
Is the terrain n flat where you reside? Sorry, never been to your continent but I envision very few mountains. If so, 4.56 would be a good ratio. I've had 4.56 in two of my rigs with 33s and the 5 speed transmission with 4.0 engine.
Doesn't really matter what Jeep charges for their new vehicles. The US consumer will pay as long as they are approved for a loan. 10 year amortization is the way of the future.
