97 TJ frame stretch to LJ

Judging by the frame thickness, the plates look to be at least 3/16". The LxW is going to be slightly less than the inside dims of the frame and the length appears to be about the same length as the frame filler piece with half the length positioned on either side of the cut line. Kelly Flats Memorial Day

It's an odd trail with a whole bunch of driving and only a couple good moments. I still want to run the Chute again and compare the Jeep to how it is now. The other trial up there I want to do again is Moody Hill to play in the quarry.

Anybody able to decode a VIN with axle ratios?

He can also report back on the engine rpm at a specific speed after torque converter lockup. This will allow the axle gear ratio to be closely calculated with an approximation of the 33's actual rolling diameter.

    Coil Spring Recommendations

It is a well covered topic. In order to design a spring that will fit, provide a desired ride height, and have sufficient spring travel there can only be a very narrow range of options with very little difference between them. This is why the thick heavy dump truck springs you have in your...

Daily Driver, Go Where I Want To Build

New nicer special hood pins are now installed. These ones are full stainless steel, including the lynch pins with big serrated flange nuts. Everything about them is nicer in fit and finish. The grommets are bolted in place for the first time. I used more of the black stainless hardware I...
