Trying to decide between a spring lift or budget/spring spacer style. It seems the different between a BDS spring lift and a Budget/Spring Spacer type of lift is only a hundred or two more, if I am reading it right. Don't they take the same amount of time to install, since with both you are removing the springs? I'm kind of running out of reasons to go with the budget lift/spacer type of lift, especially if it's only a few hundred more.

Several year ago I was trying to restore the ride height of the sagging OEM springs in my '01.
I had your same scenario and comparing the small difference in the price of the new springs vs the spacers.
For the labor involved; I decided on the new springs VS the same old tired springs.
There is a slight difference in the amount of labor time in the removal of the old OEM spring and installation the new lift springs VS the removal of the of the old OEM spring, the installation of the spacer and old OEM spring; installing new lift springs would be money better spent

If you are there, doing the same work, why limit your suspension travel? Spacer lift will keep the travel the same, but give you more clearance... sprigs will both give you more travel, and more clearance.

Thats what I was thinking. Thanks for confirming that.

Be very careful. ;)
p.s. I did a BB on my first TJ. Six months later it was on 35s.

I looked at spacers for our Jeeps but in my opinion it’s about the same about of work and as @Artsifrtsi stated no benefit to wheel travel. A suspension left just made more sense.
