My front passenger fender has the TJ rust bubble. I've found a few black fenders in decent enough shape to put them on without any work to them. However, the places selling them are asking $300+ for a fender.

Are there any aftermarket armor style fenders that are very similar to the factory fenders? I really don't like the look of tube fenders and would like to stay with the factory look, but can't justify the cost of a fender that might rust bubble again.

Check Craigslist or Marketplace. See them for sale pretty regularly

Rust free fenders are all over the PNW and south. Not so much Indiana.

If you want better prices go on a road trip..Heck buy a few rust free part out Jeeps and pay for your vacation.

Been looking for 5 months without any luck. Maybe I'll keep looking.

Yeah, Indiana is in the rust belt. There are other aftermarket stock fenders. The problem is that seam underneath where crap gets trapped and starts the rust process. Probably the same on aftermarket versions, plus thinner metal to boot. You’ll have a hard time finding a set of old stock fenders that aren’t rusted out in Indiana.

What about GenRight? Their fenders and flares come in aluminum and look right at home on a TJ?
