I know my frames bent, because my skid plate no longer aligns perfectly, and when i go on the road the whole vehicle jerks!

I just bought a 2000$ CAD Rough Country 66300U Adjustable Long Arm Kit, and my theory here, is that if i align it properly, doing the job right, i can make it road worthy without touching the frame.

What do you guys think?

This to know:
- Jeep TJ 2003 Rubicon 4-6 inch lift
- Frames slightly bent, you can’t see damage by eye
- Installed adjustable rear track bar, the rear axle is now centred with frame.

If your frame is bent, it is highly likely you will have other issues that need to be addressed depending on the nature of the damage besides your tcase skid…
As others have mentioned, get it addressed by professionals that can ensure it is straight.

The skid plate can also get out of whack from hard hits. Mine got pretty beat up on the rocks and I had to open up the holes to get it to go back on. When I removed it, it was under a lot of tension from being dented.

so depending what you are seeing at the skid, I would try and confirm that it’s your frame and not the skid
