Behold, the one and only, the car of your wildest dreams - El Nomado! Designed and built by the one and only, Joe Cherry, this baby's got style for days! It may look like it rolled straight outta a GM production line in '58, but trust us, this is Joe's very own, unique take on what a car from that era should look like. Prepare to be amazed!

Anyone for an all stainless steel 1960 Ford Thunderbird or 1967 Lincoln Continental?

Kind of OT but speaking of marketing bullshit, I just came across this while looking at the Les Paul Special page on Gibson's website...

The Les Paul Special returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved - shaping sound across generations and genres of music. It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of innovation and brings authenticity back to life.

The first sentence there would appear to be a veiled admission that they fucked up the LPS some years back, but they've seen the error of their ways. But the end of that second line...brings authenticity back to life? WTF does that even mean? Surely some marketing putz gave themselves a chubber coming up with that one. :sneaky:

My understanding was always that they did but that it was a export model only... Had a LOT of nice upgrades compared to a regular JL too.

That figures. For a newer Jx Jeep, I kind of like the thing...particularly as shown in the images.

I apparently came across it years ago online and saved a bunch of images, which I just now found. :)

It started with a '36 for Ford...

I helped a local guy here sell one to a forum member. Well... more like I helped @red95jeep practically steel it from the local guy...

Sure would be nice to see some pictures of the Bruticon in action... Hint Hint!!!

I'm always up for photos. It's the TJ-8 Scrambler we never got.

Was a fan of the elusive CJ-6 as well, mostly for the wheelbase. One of a number of reasons I focused on finding an LJ.
