It started with a '36 for Ford...

It did, indeed. Allegheny Ludlum and FoMoCo collaborations. I shot that photo about 14 years ago at the AACA Museum in Hershey, PA.

Also snapped a few of this art deco beast, which I believe @Wildman posted on a few weeks ago...

I've got a bunch more from this museum. Also shot quite a few at the Barber Motorsports museum, which you can see in the Lotus 49 onboard video I posted. That place is amazing, as is the track. Top notch facility and I even got to do a few tuition laps on the circuit with a driving instructor.

Looks newer than 1947 to me .

Some parts of it are...:ROFLMAO:

The '46 through '48 models had that distinctive blending of the fender line into the door, and back into the second door (on 4-doors), or into the body panel behind the door (2-doors). I'd say the claim of it being a '47 is entirely possible.

The thing that gut punches me is when they start making restoration parts for vehicle that used to be daily driven beater when I was young, like Fox body Mustangs and 3rd gen Camaros. Just a few days ago my son was asking how old some of my vehicles are and when we got to my '99 Integra, my high school car, I said it's 25 now. Gut punch. When the hell did that happened.

Wait till you realize that the 65 Belair I drove in high school was newer to present than the 2004 Taco that's my daily driver. WTF.

Glad someone knows around here... I just repost interesting cars I find....

Not a Levi edition but found this one for sale in Idaho on FB Marketplace. Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem like all that bad of a price for how clean it looks, although IMO it would be more worth the $ if it were still bone stock in that condition....

No front drive shaft ? Maybe a 6" lift on a CJ-5 isn't such a great idea.

I grew up in an era where too many high liftView attachment 525683 4X4's where like this.

And where the cut & turning the "C" for better caster & to be able to hook up the driveshaft came into play too. But Yes I can remember tons of 4X4's without a front driveshaft.

The 'tube thought I'd like to watch this yesterday. I did. I’ve never heard of these guys, but they got me with just one video.

The second video wasn't too bad either.

I'd only seen the second video before (great video!), so just looked into more based off of your post. Great stuff!!! (y)

I watched a few of their shorts last night, I still need to check them out, but they got me on the old man noises, especially when he said your sneezes are going to get harder. I sneeze very delicately, like a newborn baby, but my wife accuses me of something like this; :sneaky:
