Hello and best regards from Hungary! I wanted to change a fuel hose just before the fuel rail, but I realized that it is not a fuel hose at all, but just a kind of protection for the fuel line underneath. Do I see that right ? and what is the plastic clip there for ....
How much pressure does the injector work with? (bar)

50 psi or 3.45 bar.

The metal clip is a safety. No idea what the plastic clip is. Doesn't look original but I have a 97.

You might want to invest in DEI's heat shield kit for your fuel rail.

Racetronix also makes an adapter so you can add a Schrader valve or fuel pressure gauge to the rail... although if I didn't have a valve I'd probably just replace the rail.

The plastic clip is a tether for the metal retaining clip. Factory part.

Schrader valve is under the plastic cap on the upper right in the photo.

Why do you want to replace the fuel line? Doesn't look to be leaking.
