    Ride quality question

2004 TJ rubicon 4.5 RE long arm lift Fox 2.0 adjustable reservoir shocks with levels 1-8 setting knobs. Hydro bumpstops Overall, the jeep rides pretty great, with a bit of harshness on rough roads, but nothing too bad. On certain parts of the freeway though, the Jeep gets to "bucking" with...

I feel like this is where a pull-pal, or other ground anchor would come in handy. If you could some how anchor a pull pal perpendicular to the rig, in the soil, you could attach a pulley at that point, and run a winch line from a rig in front to the side of the rolled rig.

Alien abduction attempt?! I’m thinking grab-fanny games had passenger front tire too far up the opposite wall? Tipped towards the driver side. (Or maybe it was a legit attempt to go around someone/something in the middle of the trail.

Good points. What would you use to anchor the single recovery vehicle if the only other rigs is the flopped one? Would you tie off a tow rope to a rock or bury a tire, etc?

    This may actually work out!

I'm the same way. I really like the knobs on all 3 of our cars. 2015 F150, 2013 Civic and the 04 TJ. Having a nice bright display to share info is great - Love the Tire pressure/trans temp/fuel range display on both of the newer cars, but absolutely despise the trend towards touch screens for...

    This may actually work out!

I say, if that's the direction you want to go, it certainly looks like a compact package? And at that price, tough not to give it a try, in my opinion! I say that some gentle work with a dremel can make make anything fit well, if it's close. :) Keep us posted!

    Recovery Techniques

Good exercise - If it were me and I had two rigs, I think I'd: Make sure flopped rig was in gear with parking brake applied Put rig "A" behind and uphill of it attached to a recovery point as an anchor Put rig "B" uphill and perpendicular to it to pull it over via the frame, or via a slider...

New-style Garvin tire carrier latch. Didn’t realize that this mod would be marking the end of Garvin industries. They're local to us and I was able to walk in and grab this kit personally from the owners. (At the time, i had no idea of their impending closing) Had a local shop professionally...

Need your help: Is it foolish to install a $700 Sony CarPlay unit in a TJ without a hardtop?

I have personally had nice stereos ripped out of vehicles. My Father-in-law also had a factory touch-screen unit ripped out of his then-new Tacoma - smash and grab in a nice part of San Diego. That's a big reason I went with the Grom Audio bluetooth adapter setup that I did, to maintain a low...

Problem with adding Bluetooth to factory radio

Awesome! Glad it’s working out for you! I’m about 5-6 months in on using ours and it’s, by far, my favorite mod.
