They are both 3.55+ I know the one i have in there is without shims and the one i have laying around came out without shims ( took it out my self) but good spot! Doesn’t sound like the biggest job, and something i can attack my self. I have a ton of spare shims from the regear

Hello! Had my dana 35 regeared and found worn out spider gears. I know i can change them without taking the carrier out. BUT: i have another carrier laying around, with trac-lok. If im not an idiot. Can i swap the carrier without it effecting the regear job the shop did? Take out locking...

Report: Greased up the passanger side, they are both busted. So guessing thats the case on all four tires and probably the U-joints as well. Good times, just going to start changing all bearings i guess.

Allrighty, im not at home, but i went and bough PS fluid and a grease gun( why not) My mind still goes to the re-gear. But as the car has driven 270k km (167.000miles) it wont hurt changing all 4 bearings and greasing everything( ss prev owner 100% has never done it) Will check PS and do...

Well, it was NOT the Left bearing, i changed it and the sound persists. Mounted my Insta 360 under the car, added multiview and uploaded to YT. I took a ride with the mechanic whom did the regear yesterday, he also thought it was the wheel bearing. But as we now know, it´s not. As its brand...

Victory! Had to re-insert bolts and a socket to hammer it loose! The electric nut driver needed 3 seconds and it was loose! Test drive next

They were out of the single sockets and this was the only set they had left. Will get a more " grown up" one when the shop re-stocks
