Dash vents (no aftermarket?) are pricey!

One of my center dash vents is broken - the horizontal one on the right above the stereo. I’m seeing used ones for sale on eBay for as much as $50 each, that’s crazy! I think Mopar has them for $60.

I can’t seem to find an aftermarket one. You would think Dorman would have one but apparently not.

Anyone know of a cheaper one?

Find a carcass nearby and go yank it yourself
Most places arent gonna waste time asking $10 to go pick, pull, and then ship. Not worth the time

Exactly. When I needed a frame and tub last summer the junkyard said they needed a week to strip it. I went down to talk with folks and asked what they wanted to save...I pulled the fenders and seats, gave them a couple hundred bucks more for the hood and tailgate and took home a treasure trove of parts.

Well I used to live in Phoenix (tons of junkyards) and San Antonio where I could have easily gotten this.

Unfortunately I live in (smiles) Hawaii now and there aren’t any junkyards here.

I guess it’s the price I pay, quite literally lol

If you can afford to live in Hawaii you cardinally should be able to afford one.

Haha, I can see why you would think that, but my wife is active duty military and just got stationed here. Not exactly living on the beach here haha

If you have a 3D printer this may be an option:

My wife, our three kids and the M-I-L vacationed there in 2005. I told wife that it looked like living on the beach in Hawaii would be the way to go if we ever ended up homeless. Just the two of us went back in 2019 for our 25th anniversary. The homeless clientele may have gotten a bit worse but it still seamed like a good idea to me until she said, "You want to be homeless and live on a beach? 25 yrs in we can still get divorced."

And here I am back in the rust belt.

Check the FB TJ Part out groups or market place back on the main land. There is alot of Jeep part out people that do it as a job. They will be more willing to toss a vent into a USPS flat rate box and ship it out then a junkyard.
