So I did a thing today 😂 20+ years after trading in my YJ, I'm finally back in a Jeep! 2004 Sport, 5-speed, 67,000 miles, and according to my mechanic, frame and body are rust free.

Think of all the money he'll save!

I thought I heard somewhere the 4.0s don't like the iridium plugs 🤔 A kind of "use what was originally intended" kinda thing.

From my experience in every vehicle I've ever owned, rubberized undercoating is the devil. It dries, it cracks, it traps water. Everybody I've seen has pretty good luck with things like fluid film or oil undercoatings

Hearing that there is someone else out there with an 80 mile RT commute, and is able to do it in a TJ warms my heart and gives me hope 😂

Stumbled upon this one recently, and I find myself wanting to take that plunge. 2004 LJ, 137,000 miles. Completely redone from the frame up in 2021 buy a shop that specializes in Jeeps. Brand new 3" lift kit (shocks, springs, sway bars, etc), and new Grabber A/T 33's on brand new Mickey...

Came across this recently and it took me by surprise. 2006 LJ, and one of the previous owners replaced the original seats with what looks like seats from a Mazda RX8. They even wired them up to be heated. Not sure how I feel about this, but I don't HATE it. Still, I don't even want to imagine...
