Thanks @L J and @Irun. Was leaning towards these since I only need the 3/8. Also thanks for the cutting lube suggestion!

Anyone that believes they only need one size is being very shortsighted about the absolute usefulness of needing to drill perfectly round holes of other than 3/8" diameter in sheetmetal.
 
Bought 2 of these for my son's 99 project and probably drilled out about 40 welds. With the core style you still have to grind each area to get the remnants where these produce a flat prepped surface ready to go. Never used the second one since the first one survived in good shape.

Thanks for removing tunnel vision. Made me think of using for a grommet hole that could have been a bit nicer.
