Measure your springs with the Jeep’s weigh on them. Mine has a 3” suspension lift & no body lift. Like you, I don’t know what the lift is.

Here’s the USS Yorktown (CV-10) steaming across San Francisco Bay with a deck load of Jeeps to be delivered to the Pacific War on September 15, 1943. Of course, there were much more urgent priorities at the time, but that would sure be “Jeep Heaven” for guys like us.

I taught both of my grandsons to drive my 6 speed TJ. I told them to just ease off the clutch without using the gas pedal until they got the feel of it. This worked fine in 2wd high range with my 33” tires & 4.56 gears.

Here’s a nice example of a WWII MB that’s in The museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, Texas. This is a wonderful museum. Fredericksburg is where Admiral Nimitz was born.

Replaced the dreaded oil pump drive assembly (OPDA) on my ‘06 TJ. It finally started making that awful noise so I knew it was time. I also changed the serpentine belt. ‘Not quite 40,000 miles, but the Jeep is 16 years old &, for all I know, it could be the original belt.
