What did you do to your TJ today?

Better than a dash full of ducks...

It's supposed to be 90 today, so I was going to try out my 3M flame red vinyl wrap to cover my windshield frame. Tested a piece and it's a NO GO. Color is about 3-4 shades too light. I will keep searching for a darker red. :( I decided to paint the door handles when it gets above 60 today.

This is me testing one of the six lights I’m looking at putting cross the light bar- The whole scheme is to keep the stanchions on the a pillars so reinstalling the rack is painless when needed.

If you look close you can see the light bar that I’m resting my hand on-

Hopefully I can post some better pictures this evening.

All convertibles need a garage or carport. Its right there in the manual!

Correct - under Care and Maintenance/ Proper Ownership guidelines in the forum manual, see the acceptable structures section, open, portable coverings larger than 10 x 15, when properly anchored, are deemed permissable.

Fan clutch bit the bullet. Wanted a new one foolishly fast, so Amazon next day delivery. Got a ADIGARAUTO 2771. Whatever the heck that is, it is a fan clutch. Installed 10 minute job. Seems to be working just fine. We'll see how long it lasts. I'll aim to post again when/if it fails, otherwise, no news is good news.

My TJ came with a Bestop bikini top. However, it didn't include the windshield header channel. I greatly enjoy the top off feeling of the TJ. I wonder if it is worth it to get the header channel so I can install the the bikini top or not, or just run it completely topless.

I think it’s individual.....i love no top, the bikini is a buzz kill ...but it stops bad heat and helps with pop up showers-

The header is the best plan and give yourself the option if the top is off anyway

I’ve ran about every variation-

Love no top day and night the best- but my worst jeep rides were wonderful.

I have sticker bombed the inside of my gate. Do you have a clear coat or something protecting yours?

I have some uv protective spray, and I also have big sheets of 3m paint protection film... I hadn't decided yet which one or both. Or if I'm just going to let it weather. It's all laid over a single sheet of 3m vinyl over top a bare aluminum skin from savvy so it's all easily reversible. What'd you do?

I drove a couple days without anything after removing my hard top. I loved it. However, I really like the Trektop top to keep the sun off. I may still remove the very top of the Trektop from time to time, especially when trail riding.
