TCase output shaft bearing? Rear pinion loose (probably see a leak if it was)? Carrier bearings? Or try the phone test to see if you can isolate "where exactly" the sound is coming from.

Another fun night wheeling with Scott. More pics to come I think but here’s a few. I’m really enjoying these Baja Boss tires. Something else I was concerned about at first but no longer is the bigger wheels. I didn’t want to lose any performance by giving up sidewall, but these things hugged notches today like it was nothing.

Fun little line from last night. There really wasn’t much to grab onto on the left wall. Pretty much just a flat face so I was pleased with the tires there.

I should also note, I am now a massive fan of night wheeling. I am having so much fun getting to wheel in cool weather. The lights are perfect. There’s this new element to night wheeling where even familiar trails feel different. It’s very cool and I’m excited to not have an off season anymore.

Here’s another clue… shudder is intermittent. Drive Jeep for first time today to work. Could not make it shudder. Drive home 2 hours later and shudders bad on aggressive takeoff.
