Climate controls won't light up

Don't know why I haven't noticed before now, but my climate controls don't light up when I have the headlights on. It's there a light for that area?

They're lit from behind. Easy to replace the bulbs. If you want to replace, I'd suggest considering replacing all the interior bulbs with LED while your in there; very easy, inexpensive and a huge improvement. Probably one of the best bang for your buck things you can do.

Thanks, I had it all apart recently to do the heater core and I didn't notice any bulbs. I might've not reconnected them?

I'll check out the LED bulbs also, thanks!

There's a wire that runs to the panel... it's easy to miss and separate from the others.

I took my center plastic off the other day and knocked it loose...been meaning to fix that...easy to do...

I replaced all my bulbs with Super Bright LEDs...love em.

On my 97 I think it's a black wire with a single spade connector.

Yeah, found it. It had gotten pushed back when I put the dash back together. Guess that's not bad if that's the only wire I missed when doing the heater core replacement.
