Hello Collective Minds

I was changing my crankshaft sensor today and found this connector/sensor that is not connected to anything. Any ideas what this would be? The only code I’m throwing for sensors is O2 and I just replaced it today as well.

Based on the connector type and location, possibly the A/C Low Pressure Switch.

Edit: Never mind. :)

think its called a ignition capacitor 🤷‍♂️

Yes - it's to suppress ignition noise in the radio's receiver (over-the-air, not when playing recorded music), mainly heard on the AM band of the radio. It being missing won't trigger any codes, and if you have no buzzing issues with your radio, you don't really need to worry about it.

Thanks! I just use Bluetooth on my radio so I haven’t noticed. Good to know it’s not something vital 😃
