Savvy cable shift installation instructions

Ok dumb question. I have the 231. What is the difference between it and the 241?
I got the old unit out.
One of the steps has you replacing the old shifter arm. It’s slotted, tells you to click it forward to 2WD.
I removed the nut and washer but the shifter arm will not come off the bolt.
Any tips?

Is replacing the arm on the transfer case required on the 241 version? Asking because my Rubicon kit didn’t come with a new arm…or instructions (or a parts list).
I used the Novak shifter instructions. My 241 used the existing arm.

The lever arm off of the transfer case? That does not get replaced. The cable shifter only moves that arm.
