Most used / favorite tool?

I know priorties change as we get older. And i definitely have maturity issues....
But every time i see this thread title pop up the first thing that comes to mind is my

Well, it's primary design is as a framing tool. So among other things, the slots let you mark angled cuts for rafters in both degrees and slope, find the center line on a 2x4, mark anchor bolt locations, marker centerline offset, etc. Looks like you can even use it to hold a chalk line in place.

Favorite tool? : Why, that would be a hammer . . . a big hammer. If it can't be fixed with a hammer, it's obviously an electrical problem.
